sure wish i knew how to run south. I have only been on the lake like three times. I have caught a couple decent fish but I am just fishing the steep banks i know of. Is it that bad of a lake to run south? I have been waiting to hopefully meet a local and follow them around but hasn't happened yet. I fish for bass and crappie. Any help would be awesome.

Run the West side or launch at Mustang. A lot of timber in the mustang and Rocky creek area

Went Tuesday morning at Benbrook, caught one about 3#, then two dinks on consecutive casts up in less then 5 fow, all on buzz baits around the same bushes. Had a couple more hits but didn't hook up. Couldn't buy a bite the rest of the day. Fished plastics and lipless crankbaits in 12-15 fow, nothing. Thought I had a pattern figured out, guess not. It was one heck of a nice day on the lake, temps in the 70's-80-s. Couldn't believe it was August in Texas, felt more like late Sept. early Oct.
