Looking for advice on a shaky head rod.someone recently mentioned a place on fork that made a good one...This technique is new to me, caught a really nice bass yesterday on it, and the rod I was using was a 6'6" med.action fenwick, good rod but it was lacking something. Any advice on rods or techniques is to spinning or casting.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

I have a Falcon Cara T7 (Jeff Kriet Squirrel Tail CS-4-17M-S) rod that is absolutely perfect for the way I fish Shakey-Heads. It's a 7' long Med action with a tip that is prefect for shaking the weight. It has plenty of backbone to pull fish from cover as well.

I really like the action and feel of Power Tackle.
For lighter shakes heads I pick the PG-143 7'0" also can be used for many other things.
For a little bigger shakey heads I go to the PG-144 also can be used for many other things.
If you have any questions about the rods shoot me a message.

I primarily use an 8' custom built P803 Shikari rod for my shakey heads. Throws as light as 1/8 up to 5/8 oz shaky heads. For an alternate and heavier shakey heads, I use the Dobyns 733 rod and it does wonders for them. This is a Champion series rod. I am sure the Fury rod would do the same, just a little heavier. This rod is a MH fast tipped rod, so it will handle bigger fish, too. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
