I got some nice bites fishing against a dam the other morning with a squarebill. But nothing throwing the 6XD in the 10-20 range. When you guys show up at dam at first light in the summer, do you like a squarebill, medium diver, deep diver? Specific models appreciated if they aren't classified.

I like throwing Bandit 200 and 300's, Norman DLN and Middle N and Stanford Cedar lures, mid running depth baits. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I've had my best luck in the rocks with the 6th sense squarebill.

The depth I'll try fishing at the dam will be determined by where I see the bait fish and bass on the graph. Sometimes I'll never make it to the dam because I'll find them on a point/hump/drop off/creek channel before I get there.
Not picky on brands as long as they run true. From order of importance to me: Depth I see the bait fish, size of baitfish, action (wide vs tighter wobble), more sound vs less sound, color/pattern (determined by water clarity/sunlight quantity/wind and baitfish color), brand

You gotta try Black Label Balsa. Especially the Slim for your bridges and rock walls. The Balsa gives the bait a different action than there use to seeing. Black Label is the best quality for the best price. Hand built by Cliff Pace himself. www.blacklabeltackle.com
