If you've never had one, you may wanna ask around about it. I've had one for a couple of years now. If you're going to be traveling on some rough roads (not county roads, just rolling type FM roads) your motor will bounce off. I bet mine has done it 30 times. I have tried different things and have found no way to prevent it.

Thats odd, I've never had mine bounce off and I drag my boat all over the state. Sounds like maybe you've got some play in your tilt/trim hydraulics or something maybe. Who knows.

Order online. Been using the Motor Mate since they came out and they are one of the best accessories ever. Rock solid and reliable.

Love mine and been using it for three years now without any issues. I have never had mine bounce off, Mercury Opti Max.

I have had one for several years, never a single problem, pro rule are good too but I don't like having to use the steering clips.
