Looking at the forecast there will be a pretty good chance for some much needed RAIN !  Saturday night all the way until Thursday!  BRING IT ON! WE can use it! The famous banana rain dance!

I got a little over 2" last month and after the rains the fish bite really turned on.  Looked at the forecast and it is saying 1 to 3 inches of rain from late Saturday until Thursday. (Rain dance).

Man my yard could use it! My yard is far too big to water using the local water (they charge too dam much!), yet just barely too small to dig a well..... so it's all dead... dead dead... crispy and dead, very dead... could it be much more dead? I don't think so...

Been raining pretty good. Just what we needed. Will be checking the gauge.

We measured 1.25 inches at Lake Conroe last night. More coming.
Rod & Reel PB: Blue Cat 53 lbs/12 lb test, Flathead Cat 78 lbs/20 lb test, Channel Cat 17 lbs 12 lb test, Texas common carp 40 lbs/12 lb test, White crappie 2.8 lbs, Black crappie 2.3 lbs all Lake Conroe

We measured 1.25 inches at Lake Conroe last night. More coming. Thank goodness!!! I don't have a rain gauge, but I do have a 600 gallon water tank out back with this big umbrella looking rain collector, and it rose in the tank about 5 inches (this thing captures a LOT of water)

So far in my patio gauge I have gotten a three day total of 3" since Saturday. It's raining right now. Checking the forecast chances of rain (some heavy) the next seven days. Heading to work. Roads are going to be a mess.

It has been raining since 4am. Got another half inch bringing the total to a little over 3" since Saturday. Flash flood watch until 9pm tonight.  Side Note: New Braunfels got over 4" and the Comal River has been closed down due to flooding. The Guadalupe and it's river lakes are a muddy mess with fast currents.  Oh Yea! It is raining hard right now at my house!

Looks like this latest system has just about run out. After today it looks like Thursday through Saturday things will be drying up some. Another system is supposed to come in on Sunday and give us another chance for some rain. So far I have gotten a total of 3.25" of rain since last Saturday. Friend of mine who lives in Helotes has gotten over 7" since last Saturday!

Another half inch yesterday. Got a total of 3.75" since last Saturday. According to the forecast we may get more rain early next week.
