I am usually a kayak fisherman but today I had my daughter, her husband, their 2 daughters and my favorite son to take fishing. After reading several of Mike's post and being in need of something bigger than a kayak, I selected Mike for a Striper Charter. Mike selected Granbury. The first spot we tried did not work at all. Then the girls need a potty break. Then we motored over to another spot. Almost as soon as the baits were in place we started getting hits. My daughter caught the nicest one of the bunch. (That is the one I am holding.) 10.15 lbs and 30 inches We had Mikes big cooler nearly topped off with Stripers, 1 large Sandy and 2 nice Channel Cats. That was plenty of fish for us. Especially fish this size, so we called it a day early. Everybody caught at least one fish and we did not catch even 1 undersized fish. Mike is great guy to fish with. Quite an enjoyable trip.

Lake Granbury should be good now that most of PK's fish went down the river.
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Granbury don't have the numbers like previously as Granbury's fish went to Whitney. Glad we still have some fish.

Nice fish. How did you catch them? Downrigger, shad, drifting, jigging spoons?

I got a question. Some people say the fish at PK went to Granberry, next the fish at Granberry went to Whitney. People at Whitney are asking where the fish went? I am just curious, where are the fish, I want to go "catching", not just fishing.
