the University of Texas at Tyler bass club is in need of tournament scales and a bump station! We will be having some college tournaments next spring/summer 2017 and either need to purchase scales and make a bump station for these events or if any local bass club would be willing to help us out for our tournaments that would work as well. Im not sure on exact dates yet because I do not have access to 2017 college fishing tournament schedules yet. Tournaments would be held January and February then again June and July with possible an October championship. All lakes will be located in east Texas. If you have any contact info for someone who might be able to help please have them give me a call 682-478-6978 please leave message if I do not answer the call. Thanks TFF

If you guys end up buying your own set, take a look at www.tournamentscales.com/scale-systems/

I fished a low entry fee trail that used these. Both of the college clubs I fished with had their own sets. I'm pretty sure the clubs collected dues that helped pay for the scales.

Thanks Alex. Tyler Junior college has some tournament scales I'm gonna try and get ahold of those before we spend money. Really thinking a local bass club would be able to send a guy or 2 to Help out at weigh ins or somthing like that

you might check with McKinney Bass Club. We upgraded ours this season and I think we have our old scales which was working fine. We got the new kind that locks weight even with the fish bouncing around.

Good plan. We had pretty large fishing clubs at both schools, but I know all the guys did what they could to get through school and fish as much as possible. If you guys hold a tournament at Lake Fork, look at the Minnow Bucket. They have a set of scales for their working man tournaments, and might be able to lend them to you for the weigh-in if you have it there. Also, might consider scheduling on Tyler in the Spring when Mark Howard has a JC tourney. He's a really good director and might be willing to let your club weigh in around the time he does the JC weigh in if you guys ask ahead of time.

Good suggestions! Thanks a ton

I have 2 sets of pro tournament scales. One set of the 357 series and one of the h2 scales. The h2 has the double display that shows current weight and has a bottom row for the leading weight. I also have the taysys software on a laptop which can pull the weights directly from the scale itself, no typing. If you bring a tv you can hook it up to show the standings. If you don't have another option by the time you need some I can help you out. Shoot me an email at jarrodsanders62@gmail.com

No problem, it's nice to help folks out from time to time, when we can. I just so happened to have some.

All you need is a plastic mop sink from Home Depot, like $60 bucks and a measuring board.
