I'm tired of it. It's too hot. Fishing is suffering. I'm just ready for the fall bite, and the start of Duck season. If anyone is catching fish in North Texas I need some help. I'm tired of putting the boat in, struggling for a bite, sweating faster than I can drink water, and catching nothing but to many UV rays. The other day got so bad that I started targeting the 9 inch white bass that were schooling every once in a while.

I've made a rule for myself. If I can't be on the water before sun up and shut it down by 10, I'm not going

I have not fished since late June, part of the reason is because I am without boat right now, really dont miss it because of the heat.

I'd take a sub 90 degree day.

That's about it for me too. I might stay out all night and leave by 10 but not longer. It's miserable out there. I'm having to mount my bimini top on my boat just to help. Catching those hours hasn't been a problem. The fish have been staying shallow on my lake.

Same for me, but usually stay until about 11 by fishing shady areas.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Another observation. I've been watching bass live, flw cup, and other summer fishing media. One thing I've noticed, these people don't sweat!!! How is that even possible???

It seems a little extra brutal this year for some reason.
