I no been have much luck on this lake. Me no fish this lake long time.

Sorry, had to do it.

I haven't been there this year, but last summer I did pretty good fishing the dam and the main-lake boat houses.

I fished three tournaments there last summer, it was a shallow water bite even in July and August. There are some real awesome docks, you just have to put the time in to find them. I did find some deep water fish on a ridge down by the dam that is on the East Side of the dam that runs 200 yards out in front of the boat docks. Had a bunch of brush piles that I fished as well, but the better fish kept coming from the docks, and if you see a private boat ramp it's money! Early morning bone colored yellow magic, T-Rig motor oil red flake 7" power worm and a plum colored drop shot finesse worm when the sun came up. Hope this helps.

Quality fish under docks are few and far between this time of the year. I fish 3X a week and yes there are fish under docks, but they're 12 inches. Any shallow fish will be small if they're shallow at all. I stopped catching shallow water fish a couple weeks ago. If you want quality, go crank the dam or find a deep water brush pile.
