Hit the lake again. Super light bites. Sometimes didn't know I had one until I was reeling in to move. Not as many as last week, but I'm not complaining.

I had the hardest time getting my jigs past the blue gill. They kept grabbing them and going and sitting on top of the cross members

Nice mess of crappie. Wish more of those pesky blue gill were bigger, cause they taste so sweet.

Same here. They were thumpin my jig hard and kept thinking I was missing crappie on the hookset.

I guess we need to bring a bigger 2nd rod. Then we can use the blue gill as bait.
