I'm planning on crappie fishing LBJ soon. Having never been there, would appreciate suggestions on where to launch. Thanks

Lots of good ramps, just depends on what end of the lake you want to fish.

If you are going at night hitting the lights the ramp behind Napa in kingsland is handy. During the daytime it gets crazy there and I wouldn't launch there by myself during the summer. The park in granite shoals is a good daytime launch.

Ramp behind Napa closed a yr ago-big home sits there now. Lions Park in Kingsland is $$5.00, 4-5 ramps in Granite Shoals all $$10.00 to launch, 2 ramps in Sunrise Beach free. RV park up the Colorado arm $5.00.

I thought all of the ramps in Granite Shoals were free, did something change?

Nice 2 lane ramp at the LBJ Yacht Club with a courtesy dock and nice paved parking lot. Fee is $10, but it's worh it because someone is always around watching the place. The yacht club has a yearly membership for for the ramp for $200 if you fish there a lot.
