First attempt at painting a juvenile rainbow trout that is going from the blotchy fingerling stage into its adult coloration. I think the next one I'll go a bit lighter on the back. Maybe a bit less of the pink as well.

I think the amount of pink is fine, maybe use a little more reducer so it's not as bold. I really like the pattern though good job!

It's not quite as bold/bright as it looks in the pic, but it's still a bit too bright, so I'm betting reducing it will help

Nice looking work . A light mist of pearl white will soften the color and give it a bit of luster. Just go easy...not too heavy on each coat.

yep i agree with brad and bois. mute the pink way down and youve got a winner. over spray with pearl white or maybe pearl silver will definitely add dimension.
