I purchased the boat lane chart for Sam Rayburn but it's not showing on my huminbird. It shows to be downloaded from my Mac to the sd card. But when entered it doesn't show anything. I don't have a lake master or navionics chip. It's just the map that comes on the unit. Has anyone has this problem?

You have to go into the tracks and waypoints and turn it on and change the appearance of the trails.

Does your sd card have a folder on it named "Matrix"? In that folder there will be .hwr and .ht files. If you don't have that folder or files, the core units or Helix units will not recognize the files. I'm not familiar with the Onix units, so I'm not sure how you load gps files on them. After your unit starts up completely, put your card into the unit. You should get a message, asking if you want to "Upload Nav Data from SD Card". If you didn't get this message, then your unit did not recognize the files. Are there any waypoints or tracks listed under your "Waypoints, Routes, Tracks" tab on your unit. You don't have to turn anything "on" for the correct files to work. I think Lamoon was meaning you need to go to your "Saved Tacks Defaults" tab on your unit and make sure it is set to "visible". If I remember correctly the default is visible but I think the line for tracks is very thin and the color is very faint. However, you should be able to see them. Let me know if you have any problems. Have a Blessed Day, Mike

The ONIX takes individual GPX data, not in a Matrix folder.
Default setting for Saved Tracks is a light grey dotted line and Visible.

My huminbird is a 698 si. Not a helix. Maybe I should have said that in the opening statement.

Default setting for Saved Tracks is a light grey dotted line and Visible. Saved Tracks Default only applies characteristics to new tracks during import. STD has no affect on existing tracks. Great software programming by Humminbird to make default characteristics of imported tracks to be invisible. A real PITA. You will need to go to Waypoints, Routes and Tracks to locate and edit the existing track characteristics. Note: If you Sort by Icon, then tracks will filter to top of list. If you need details, then Boatlanes has Humminbird instructions: Installation PDF document -> http://www.boatlanes.com/HumminbirdSDcardInstall.pdfEditing track document -> http://www.boatlanes.com/changing%20visibility%20settings%20humminbird%20unit.pdf
