Thursday was pretty good, Friday was Fair, But today was HAMMER TIME. Started at 6: AM, first spot fished until 9:30, three of us caught probably 70 fish keeping 21 0f the largest.
Moved to an underwater tree for a few min , not much happening, moved to a brushpile nearby and the fun started. All three of us had good fish on first drop. Sat there until 11:30 catching fish constantly. Heat got us so we quit with fish still biting. Released most of the fish. Probably caught close to 150 total fish.

Note: On the brushpile after catching about 20 fish we found more fish sitting about 15' north of the brush. That's where the most were caught. just cast out and watch your line, Jig rarely made it to the bottom. Color didn't matter.

Note: Only touched the trolling motor three times all morning. Set the anchor button on three spots and just fished, boat never moved more than three feet.

I showed my Dad your rig today and tried to convince him to get the xi5! He told me if I'd buy it, he'd gladly put it on his toon! Sounds like it's a crappie fishing machine!

Good to see a product perform as advertised.

Now they need to develop a wireless sensor that you apply to your boat that will keep you a set distance from objects like bridge pilings, without the need for GPS signal.

If you put an xi5 on the bow and on the stern and approached your target in the direction you want to fish, I bet it would hold you still without worrying about the wind. Either that, or they'd fight each other the entire time!

The lake was Lewisville...color didn't/doesn't make any difference...TM is 24V...battery life is amazing since motor runs all the time it's in the water.
