I have a 2012 70HP Yamaha that shut down like it was out of gas, I would try to crank it and it would start then die.
this happened after a few hours of fishing, cranked up and moving a little above idle, say 5-8 mph, it just died, crank up then die, crank up then die. I had 3/4 of a tank(14 Gal) of gas. After about an hour, it cranked like nothing was wrong.
This happened back in March. took it to dealer, "could not duplicate" at that time I changed the water separated filter, checked fuel line connections between tank and engine. It happened again yesterday.
Anybody have any dealing with this type of problem?
