I recently boat a boat from the Austin area and the bottom of the hull has a bunch of residue on it. It is above the actual water line(where it sits in the water is clean) but is all up the rake and the underside of th hull. What do yall use to clean it? I have used hull cleaner in my bay boats in the past but heard it is harsh and can mess up the gel coat over time.

Just use the hull cleaner stuff one time....then keep it clean and waxed. Then you will not have the damage from repeated uses over time. That's what I did. Looks good.
