Never been there. Give me some info. Was planning on Pines but decided to try something new. Headed there Sunday morning for a few hours.

Lake is well marked and easy to run all the way to the 1971 bridge after that it's pretty much idle only. Jig or shakey head around docks are a summer time go to, especially those near deeper water. Not any submerged grass to speak of. Lake has really came alive the last few years.

Jerking lips and taking cold sips.

If you feel like a 10 minute idle through a few stumps go above the bridge to the far upper NW end of the lake. Good sized lillypad field. Once under the bridge it is idle all the way past islands to the pads. There are some good reeds and reed clumps in open water. Find boat docks off of/close to deeper points. Senkos and Jiggs. When running the lane on the southern shore heading toward the bridge you will see two tall poles with red arrows pointed between them. Gets shallow there but can be run. Will jump from 10 ft to 4 ft pretty quick. Once past those poles there are some brush piles off of the lane about 60 yards to your right. Hard to find. Grew up on the lake. There are some good fish to be caught. Game Wardens patrol the lake often but they are great guys. Just be legal. Good luck!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!

Docks were productive for me on the couple of times I have been this year.
