Anybody had any luck with stripers and/or sandies on Toledo Bend? Headed that way tomorrow to do some bass fishing and just wanna put some fish in the boat to fry on Saturday night. We are staying on the far south end of the lake by the dam and will likely be fishing that end of the lake. Any help/input is appreciated.
Thanks.

They are schooling close to the river and major feeder creeks along with largemouth. We found them on flats close to bends in the river channel. Sandbass on TB is very underrated. We put a limit of 2-3 lb mag sandies in the boat. Hard fighting fish and lots of fun!
