Use to fish the lake a lot, I know the bass are making a comeback in the lake, just was wondering if many redfish are still in it?

I hear they're sometimes caught but in very limited numbers.

Not likely to catch any. The last red drum stocking was in 2011 and there's been a couple of fish kills since then. In fact, there haven't been any stockings of any kind since 2011 except for alligator gar. Go figure...

TP&W says some redfish survived. But in limited numbers. So, yes you could catch some, but it is going to be hit or miss.

Total waste of money and time.

Not to hijack the thread, but since it looks like question was answered... anyone catching any tilapia out there? Any spots to target? Would like to fill the freezer!

The alligator gar are proven to eat carp... helps control them.
