Lost a rod and reel yesterday. 13 Concept A and a No. 8 tackle co rod.... ouch. I need to replace or add a new bungee cord for my boat ('08 Skeeter sx 190). Any recommendations? I'm sure there is a DIY fix for this... I'm thinking about starting a GO FUND ME page for fishing!

I use a set of these attached to both sides of my Seaark. I made mounts for them so they can be easily removed.

I'm thinking about starting a GO FUND ME page for fishing! That's funny right there!

I have a 17' dual console and the deck is too short for my rods to lay flat. I have to lay them and run the ends past the side of the windshield which of course they get tangled during the day. You just gave me an idea of making something to keep the ends separated.

Find an ace hardware and you can buy bungee cord by the foot and you can replace worn ones with it. I think it's 1/4" or 5/16"

Tracker Marine uses the same thing. Give your local bass pro shop a call.

Turn your rods around to face aft.

Turn your rods around to face aft. Still too short. If I didn't put a dropshot spinning rod up there, I probably wouldn't get all the tangled lines.
