This Purtis Shad pattern has been, and continues to be, a great producer. The pattern is based on the threadfin found in one of our many fine State Park Lakes. I've fished it successfully in several lakes like Fork, Hubbard, Lavon, Mill Creek, Coffee Mill, Palestine, Cedar Creek, to name just a few. The Purtis Shad catches bass wherever a crankbait bite is on!

The Texas Hologram is one of the oldest patterns I have. It consistently get strikes in most any light level but seems to excel during those cloudy or partly cloudy days that occur so often in spring and fall, or during the low light of early morning or evening.

A fellow TFF member introduced me to this pattern. It's become the newest edition to the arsenal. Normally every pattern goes thru at least one full season of productive bass fishing before it goes into the arsenal...but in this case...results speak for themselves! First time out it landed some very nice bass, and it's continued to produce everywhere I use it. I named it in honor of one of my favorite East Texas lakes.

This Turquoise Shad pattern is a magnet for summer schoolin' bass. I can't begin to count the number of 1-3 pound bass I've landed on this pattern. Its proven its worth time and again when bass are busting shad in the heat of the day. When the rattle bait bite slows down, this pattern in a RT-1.5 or 2.5 model, on a fast rip-rip-pause retrieve will keep the bite going. Want to get to the bigger bass hanging out under all the action? Try chunkin' this pattern in a DRT 1.5 or 2.5...and hang on.
