 Need your help! Planning a Trip

Heading out of town this weekend for 9 days of fishing. Thinking of hitting Texoma, East Texas, Maybe Louisiana and Mississippi (Sardis or Grenada),
Anyone have any recommendations for places to go? Rayburn? Lake of the Pines? Also would like to try a few creeks or rivers and try to see a few state parks. Davy Crockett state park? Caddo?
I have never driven past DFW to fish in the state of Texas so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I'm also from Midland but have lived in Longview since 2008. There's a ton of great places to fish around here. I'll shoot you a PM with some info when I get to the office.
