My budget is normally 200-300 bucks for a reel. I am looking for a reel to throw tiny finesse stuff on 8 or 10# line. Want to be able to launch 1/4 oz baits - any reels come to mind for this purpose?
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Daiwa Tatula CT is a great choice as well.

Shimano Curado 70 Definitely this reel right here. I just got one last week for small finesse jigs and little paddle tails and man this reel rocks. It's specifically designed for finesse baits and light line. Super smooth retrieve, good drag system, and it's lightweight. I know you'll be happy with it.

I have a Shimano chronarch 51E for this exact purpose. 4-6 lb braid or 8lb mono is what I use with it on a 6'6 med. Great setup for 1/16 -1/4 oz baits. I drop shot with it too sometimes.

I got a Diawa Pixy last year on EBay for $250 new. Not cheap but WAY cheaper than retail. I'm not much of a finesse fisherman but this thing will cast a bare hook!
