In 2012 Storm's Edge began with a few custom painted lures done on a garage workbench. It soon developed into a passion for recreating images, on a variety of lures, of natural forage fish found in Texas lakes. Folks soon began asking for refurbishment of their favorite lures with new patterns of their choosing. After several years of continual refinement and field testing Storm's Edge Custom Painted Lures can now offer quality unique proven fish catching crank-bait patterns to bass anglers. Any of the patterns shown above can be custom painted on any of these lure blanks below at a very affordable price. PayPal payments only. Minimum order two (2) of any one pattern. Maximum order five (5) of any one pattern. Total orders not to exceed 20 lures. Mixing patterns is OK. Possible two week turnaround on orders. Contact boisarc@outlook.com for details. Got a favorite pattern you'd like painted or an old lure you want refurbished? Drop me a line and lets discuss it.

This Purtis Shad pattern has been, and continues to be, a great producer. The pattern is based on the threadfin found in one of our many fine State Park Lakes. I've fished it successfully in several lakes like Fork, Hubbard, Lavon, Mill Creek, Coffee Mill, Palestine, Cedar Creek, to name just a few. The Purtis Shad catches bass wherever a crankbait bite is on!
