We are going to see my daughter in Tulsa this weekend, and we are going kayaking on Saturday. She has mentioned Okmulgee, but I've looked at Dripping Springs, which is 10 minutes down the road. DS is smaller and looks more kayak friendly, but you never know for sure until you are on the water. Has anyone fished and/or kayaked either of these lakes? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Artie

Never been on Okmulgee lake but Dripping Springs is a decent lake. I'd bet it's definitely the better bass lake of the two as well.

Based on date, you have already been there.
Lots of opportunities in that area, fishing, or just kayaking? Keystone for sure (strippers), Claremore lake, Skiatook, Oologah and the oxbows off the Arkansas. All about same driving distance.
