How do you guys avoid the flesh eating virus while wade fishing? I've heard if you have cuts on your body you can get it. Thanks

We just soak down with peroxide after a wade. I don't wade the muddy back lakes in the summer which seems to have the most bugs in them.

That and wade fish areas with good current, which I go into in my DVD.
Take a shower asap after ya get outta the SaltH2O and your good to go.

Whenever I go to the beach I bring freshwater in empty 1ga juice jugs... rinse myself on it. Gear gets cleaned back at home. I don't wade in standing water.
