Got to go to RR this past Saturday and finally caught some out of my favorite timber spots. I don't like to fish the main lake brushpiles and I had been reading about how great they were producing, so I did a Bass/crappie combo trip. The Bass Fishing was a little slow, but the crappie was good. Caught about 40, but only kept 20, and even got a couple of bonus Blue Cats for a small fish fry as I was craving some fresh fish. My last couple of trips I couldn't find my favorite timber as it was all underwater with the high water levels. Should be good for a while.
