Nice catch! Did she hit live shad or cut shad? People always say bass don't eat dead bait, but I've seen it before.

I have caught bass on cut bait many times.

Not often enough I would say it would be a primary method, but it happens more than you might think.

. She hit a big ol bluegill head on a rattle rig...bass will definitely hit dead bait...I catch a few toads every year this time out on the main lake humps
