70 fish 220lbs first time to do some serious trotlines . Done some before but kind of just playing around to see what would happen . Caught me all off hot dogs all I can say is location location location !!!!

I'm a rookie ( and that's kinda pushin it haha) buddy took me out said we sprobably wouldn't do well on account of it being so hot and he was gona call it quits til September but we made a go at it and it turned out damn good I didn't see a boat one on the lake , careful if you make it out there tho lake is low and there are stumps everywhere some of them you still can't even see !

First off..congrats! That was an epic outing. Looks like you'll be eating good for quite a while. Nice job on cleaning out the red meat as well.

Not harping on ya...but 70 fish...is too much even for 2 people. The limit is 25 fish for blues & channels...total..not 25 for each species and 5 for Flatheads. I only took the time to mention this to you incase you were not aware.

Thanks went with and old man who knows a thing or two I did all the grunt work and he showed me the ropes ! And it was a two day trip , we laid first line out 10am Saturday and pulled All 4 of them up Sunday around 11 am . Thats legal ain't it ?
2 people 25 a peice up to 50 fish a day so In two days would could of had no more than 100 fish to make it a legitatment haul ? As long as we only pulled 50 a day between the two of us assuming 12am to 12 am is a full day and we could restart our limit ( we fished all thru the night ) correct ? Just asking kind of new to this ....
