So I'm getting interested in frying some of these bad boys up.

What do you do with the fish while you're still fishing, before you get to cleaning them.

Keep them in a live well or in a cooler on ice.

when bank fishing the cooler of ice sounds like the way....

Wen to the neighborhood lake with some left over "green" worms, and my wife and I caught 36 in an hour, although all of them on the tiny side. It was a fun way to dispose of the worms no matter.
