Not sure on the accuracy of this but supposedly caught on Lake Naconiche this month...weighs 14.12 pounds. [img] http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics...401831850542327[/img]

That would be the record out there if so. Hard to tell from the way it's being held. You can make a 10lber look 14. Maybe he has the largest hands ever though...

wow only 23.5"?? i have caught tons at 23" and only weight in that 7-8lbs range!!

Weighed on certified scales by lake manager, Bill Plunkett. Pending certification by TPWD in Austin it will rank as a new lake record, besting the 12.54 caught in April 2013. 23 3/4 inches long. Texas rigged tequila sunrise worm, 15-16 feet of water. Only bite the angler and his wife had Friday afternoon.

He's a friend of mine that caught it. Sure wish he would use two hands holding that fish. Hope her jaw didn't break. It was released also!

Turns out the ruler used to measure this fish measures in two inch increments instead of one inch increments. The bass was closer to 26 inches long, not 23 3/4 as I was originally told.
