Anyone fished this little lake? I've seen some reports showing its good for bass, channel cats and perch. Can anyone confirm this and what's the best bait to use out there ? Thanks 👍🏻

I checked the TPWD stocking reports the stocked Florida bass originally then added large mouth bass in the late 90s and Chanel cats added til early 2000s. I was on the app fishbrain most of the post were of small cats and bass. Trying to see if this is a legit fishing spot to catch some nice size fish lol

I've fished it many times without a problem, its not what it use to be, plenty of dinks to be caught. I always do good with a tx rigged chigger craw.

I used to fish it back in the mid to late 60's when I grew up in Oak Cliff along with the small pond at Kidd Springs. Mom would give us a can of biscuits and we would put a small piece on a hook and catch perch. Haven't fished it since about 68 but wouldn't think twice about running by there and chunking a spinnerbait around.

I tried it out today. Caught mostly small sunfish between 3-6" on live worms and spinner bait. I'll try to load some pics later 
Gotta catch em' all.

They drained it around 2006 and cleaned it up, then I believe restocked it. Played on the space ship that was out there. Back in the day, then mom would take me to polar bear ice cream parlor

  Tough trip. Caught these two and had a bluegill bust on top when I was pulling my grub out of the water. Didn't see any one get killed.

They say the same thing about this little lake as they do about the ramp at mountain creek. Don't go there either, you'll get your car stolen and you'll get murdered!
