You guys, I have talked with Pat and Justin at South Texas Marine and we are looking at putting on a week night type tournament that would run appx 3 months before we turn the clocks back. The way I see it we could fish say 2 nights per month that would be six tournament series, have an angler of the year. Nothing expensive, fun and commaraderee. Trying to get a head count to see who would be sincerly interested. We will then meet and discuss what type of tournament, dates, issues, things like that. The lake is now 5.6' low and slowly going down. Report from my local source, who fishes it 2x week, says catching keeper bass has not been good. Catfish still good. We had our bass club tournament planned there last month, but we cancelled it. I wouldn't be interested, but thanks for asking!

Sorry to throw cold water on your proposal! It is still one of my favorite lakes to fish. Perhaps other people are interested. I definitely want to go back some other time, when conditions are more to my liking.
