I use those numbers because I have and use products that I love for those prices or lower...so I have no need to pay more. I guess the only and most expensive lure I buy is a 1/2 Yellow Magic for about $19. I buy it because I think it catches more fish for me than similar, less expensive topwaters. I am completely satisfied with the rods, reels, line, hooks, weights, and plastics I am using so there is no reason (in my mind, at least) for me to pay more.
