Nice fish...been wanting to do a striper trip...last month I almost booked one for my birth day on July 30th. Did a early crappie trip instead.it's a good thing cause the whole family came down with strep throat Friday.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Ruff n Redi: The large striped bass population is healthy on Texoma. The limit is two fish over 20 and we strictly keep to this. The fish that are missing from the lake due to the flood and poor recruitment, are the box fish stripers. We throw back any smaller fish not throat hooked to help supplement the problem. I have a very healthy respect for the Texoma fishery, as it is my livelihood. I also have a degree in wildlife and fisheries (Texas A&M) with a concentration in fisheries management. I apologize if this comes off snappy, I just have a strong belief in conservation, that is why I went to school for it. All the best and tight lines.
Troy: That is tough, my family got a taste of that situation 3 weeks ago, I know your pain. I hope y'all are feeling better!
