For several years I have been giving out these locations to whoever asked for them. They have also been added to fishing maps. Maybe they will help you catch more fish.

Good luck.

MR Paty Iam kinda knew to TFF, and am always reading, lurkn, sometimes post, and have seen comments in past months about about coe b piles. Can remember few gps numbers when lake was filling, wow long time gone. But for you to put them out for everyone,in my opion is incredible and unselfish, I for one will remember you in near future, cause I think one can always keep learning, when it comes to fishing, hunting, etc. keeps things interesting. Thanks

I know a few guides that have been fishing them and I assume they won't be real happy with this.

I know that the info is out there but I have been up there three times in the last couple of weeks and the only ones that I have seen fishing them have been about six different guides. I bet that they will be surprised when there are a lot more people sitting on the piles this weekend.

I guess they will just have to go find other piles without people sitting on them. Just makes it a little harder for those guys trying to make a living out there.

Don't fear it Captain Ron, The Corp Piles have been out for a while. Only a few of them are producing quality fish and you know which ones those are. Plenty of room out there.

I understand David. That's why Kevin McCullough (Downwind Guide Service - 817-909-1953) and me have been scouting the other areas to find the bigger fish for his customers. We have found that most of the piles have only 9" fish on them and you better do something a lot different to find the quality of fish.

Kevin (Downwind Guide Service).

Jig fish.

Happy customer with a toad.

I had my customer fish a Corp pile on Sunday morning and pulled up with a single boat close to us. Later on we had a boat show of close to 10 boats around us. When we finished up it was back to the single boat. Those other boats didn't slow down our fish or cause us to catch smaller fish. We pulled plenty of keepers off that public brush pile despite the pressure. The lake is fishing great and with so many brush piles on that lake you just need to move around to find them. Sometimes they are there but just don't bite when you first pull up. I'll move on and try them later or another day. Don't forget to try out trees close to the brush piles as well. Those can be really good sometimes.

I literally think you can catch a limit on dang near any of them right now. Its so easy right now. They are so stacked they would prob hit a cigarette butt.

I'm not sure why anyone would object to this information. It's been published for several years on fishing maps, and available to anyone who asks for it. Not one in ten that see's this will go to the trouble to enter the waypoints into their GPS and if they find the piles most won't catch much.

With over 50 corp's piles on the lake the odds of them hitting on anyone's favorite is pretty small and if they do happen to be sitting there when you arrive any good guide will have several other places. Remember the piles were built with public funds for public use. Feel lucky that they don't put a marker on them the way Oklahoma does.

Sharing info with fellow fishermen should not be frowned on. I had a lot of help when I started out.

Thank you Ernest. I couldn't agree more that there should be no objection to helping other fishermen catch fish. There are plenty of places for people to find crappie in Ray Bob. Thanks for sharing.

I wish we had a couple more lakes like Ray Roberts in the area. I love having all those brush piles available. I'm trying to recreate it on Lewisville and Grapevine a few brush piles at a time.

Maybe they will put some corps brush piles in the new Lower Bois D' Arc Resevoir in Bonham if they ever decide to fund that thing. It would be nice to have a new lake around here.

Anyone that knows Ray Roberts knows about these piles and the awesome thing about them is that most of the piles are massive, they weren't made for one boat to hog them.
