Great post & pictures Keith!

Went to Lavon again this morning and landed about 200 fish. Top water was going on all over the lake and everyone was chasing the schools. After that died down i ended up on the east side of the lake and found some BIG sand bass. . Saw Carey out with his clients and they were in the midst of it all as well. He did good on crappie in between the top water. Great day of fishing.

Lavon is my new favorite lake....Hopefully when we get moved back home and I have a place to clean some for the table hopefully they will still be biting...

Okay this is the last report LOL for a while at least.
Got to go to Lavon this morning for one last day of vacation. Got on the lake and the top water was in full swing. From 7 am until 9:45 i caught fish as fast as i could cast . It was a massive school. The ran south and then came back north. And then just stopped in front of lavonia and schooled for another hour in that one place. Ran into Larry Lawley at the ramp good to see you . Also sawJeff Craft and all his grand kids and they were worn out from catching. Great to see you Jeff. Met a couple guys Jason and Clint and one of their sons and the were in the fun too. Nice to meet you guys.. I have 4 videos of the top water but don't know how to post them on TFF .It was unreal. Back to work tomorrow for the next two months

Luckily lavon sandies are not too smart. School is out and they still school everday? Lol. Nice pics, PK. Better get some restN in for Rays special party coming up.

Lavon is a lake I haven't fished since I was a kid. However, it has been very good. I've been 3 times in the last 3 weeks and have done very well each trip.

Sandies have been early anywhere from Collin to the Island, catching on small 1/2oz slabs and mepps #4.
Crappie seem to be in just about any timber in 12-20ft range on 1/16oz #Bonehead-jigs with salt-n-pepper or silver shad slim sticks.

Good fishing & friendly group of fishermen on Lavon, has me cheating on Mother Hubbard.

That's great Jason121. Glad y'all are on em. I also fish hubbard but Lavon is closer . Gene it has always been my home lake. It just dried up for a couple of years. Todd the sand bass have to stay in school i guess --LOL--
Jeff Lavon is pretty good right now. Less crowded and less expensive to launch
