 Pedernales River - Peace, tranquility, and my fly rod

Took a break from the city this last weekend and hit the road with the RV with my family to the Pedernales Falls State Park. I know the Pedernales river isn't known for its fishing, but the view were extraordinary and it gave me some time to practice my cast in the early morning and late evening hours. Small fry bass and small perch or sun fish. Can't think of a better way to spend a HOT July weekend with my beautiful wife and my teenage son.
