Despite the heat, went with a fellow TTF and got some keepers.

Where were you guys? I am going to be going down tomorrow thru Thursday and my sons who are 8 and 10 are chomping at the bit to catch some fish. The only thing is that we will fishing from the shore. Any tips would be helpful.

Dang...I was there over the weekend and only caught about 20 rat reds and 2 12" specks...nothing to take home and eat frown
where the heck were you fishing? Wish I had known y'all were down there I would've tried to meet up with y'all! Nice catch!

Fly tier (yeah, I can fly fish...but the fish don't like frothy water!)

Tried the jetties with no luck, fished some rocks off the ship channel and ICW for the trout and went into the marshes for the flounder. Lots of water movement from tides and ships was a big help keeping that bait moving around.
