I have had several instance when I will loose my GPS signal on with the Hummingbird 1197. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you to correct it?

Just bend the pins on the cord a little bit where you get a tighter fit. It fixed mine.

I had this problem and found that the box around the connectors had a crack. I have not replaced the box yet but I just make sure the GPS cable is plugged in well when I connect the box.
