Hey guys, I am think about getting into jig building. I have a good friend that makes them and his setup looked pretty basic compared to what I thought was needed.

Any tips on where to start getting the stuff needed? Molds, melting pots, skirts, hooks, paint, lead, ect....

Check Barlows and tackle warehouse usually has some deals on do it molds. I have purchased several from them for 5 dollars cheaper than I found them anywhere else.

Build Living Rubber Skirts from Barlow's. You want be sorry because the rubber will hold and soak up the scent you are using on your baits. This has been the one most important factor in catching fish over the years for me. Big Bass are hard to fool and the scented skirts will help in getting that done. Silicone does not have the action and will not hold the scent that Living Rubber does.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.
