Today the bite was real slow at first. I trolled and slabbed everything in the box and then....Break out the Reef Runner 800 Bare Naked. That lure is clear with some bb's and glitters in the water lake a Vegas lady of the night and runs about 18-19 feet. Caught one right after another. Then Scott came out with 7 Freshmen ACU football players. I grabbed two and we slabbed up two fish 1 24 inch fish. Call me when you are ready Jeff. That one guy in the pic is 6'5" so that will give you an idea of the size of that fish.

Nice fish and screen shot. What sonar do you use? Is it chirp technology?

I use the T-box by Vexilar WiFi connect finder. I have been testing it this season. It has no down scan or side scan. I hear they may make one. I set it at 80hz at 40 degrees and a gain of 55. This has given me the best findings for our water clarity. Guys with 1-2 thousand dollar side scans and down scans can find fish here too but hey...I run my WiFi and pick up my finder on my 8" screen of my Samsung Tablet. I use to run it on a 10" screen and that was just too big. Anyone on my boat with a smart phone can look at the sonar as well with the app and my password. In addition I can go hang in the hammock and take my iPhone 6 and watch as I drift with my feet up drinking a beer. I then start slabbing when I drift over a stack if I didn't fall asleep. I catch plenty of fish using this standard sonar and I have my Lowrance set to map on the dash for tracking and maps. Not bad for $150.00
