Anyone having luck on the sandies on Pool? Haven't fished it in a year or so but thinking about giving it a try again. Thanks for any info!

Well for anyone that is interested I went out this morning and I found some schooling sandies just out from the south ramp at the state park. They were all small. Still fun. Caught a bunch and released everything on both top waters and also on the bottom in 17 feet on Moes SSS slab. Some had broken lines like hybrids, but I know they have not been stocked in Pool.

Sandies breed like crazy and will populate a lake on their own without stocking. Crappie will take over a pond or lake as well. Bass defend their eggs but it does not compare to those that hatch hordes at one time
