I take my graps off. Everything else stays in the boat. If the wife saw all the other stuff I might have some explaining to do

If the wife saw all the other stuff I might have some explaining to do lol... ain't that the truth When I moved last, I made sure I had enough property to keep my boat on site, then built a tuff shed garage for it. Only issue is it gets hot as hades in there. Trying to figure out better ventilation, but normally I just open the front and back garage doors for now during the day and let the breeze through. But it's lovely to be able to just leave everything on it and in it.

I'm fortunate mine lives in the garage. When I get home I back it in, unhook it from my truck, plug in the battery charger, get the extra Twinkie's from under the drivers seat and the empty water bottles from under the other seat and head for the recliner. No wife so no explaining why I'm late getting home and griping cause I smell like fish. Got it made.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed. Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.

I keep mine at my shop in open air under a cover. All my rods, reels, electronics, tackle etc. get removed between trips. Usually there is something to work on or some such.

I unload after every trip. I store my boat at a marina in dry storage. There has been some threads where their storage was broken into and everything was taken. I have always unloaded but this solidified my decision. If I could keep my boat at the house in a garage I would leave it in the boat.

My boat is my tackle box!! Mine too! I keep mine in a secure storage so I leave everything in place.

it may not a "good idea" to divulge where and how you store your property on a public forum these days...

Then I enjoy a good supper my wife prepared for me. She knows why I'm late getting home and smell like fish. I think I got it made.

I married the one my mother warned me against but all is not lost. I'm still living in the house that she walked away from and my boat is in the same garage she parked her Cadillac in. I miss her like a dog misses fleas. Last time I heard she's living in a 1 bedroom rented house and driving an old Toyota up in Kansas somewhere. Yep, I got it made.

If my boat was stored outside my garage, it would be empty. I wouldn't have near the stuff in it I currently do because of the hassle of unloading it all each trip. Too many thieves roaming around....

I just emptied everything out of my old boat and can not believe how much weight I was carrying.
My boat stays in storage...but I will be cutting down on what I carry simply to cut down on weight.
Pretty sure I can eliminate a couple of live wells full worth of bait weight!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

it may not a "good idea" to divulge where and how you store your property on a public forum these days... This is true. I keep all of my tackle in my boat, under a boat cover in my driveway. But if you open the lockers in the wrong sequence a bomb goes off.
