so going to pk in the morning and just wanting to put the people in the boat on some fish. no trolling motor on the boat but there is a fish finder. any help on what to look for or some producing areas would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Not sure you will see this before you go. Fishing is pretty tough at PK right now. Summer pattern setting in. The stripers that normally are easy to catch in the summer are missing. Not sure where they are or if they are even still in the lake. If you can buy or find a green light you can catch lots of sand bass and big perch with minnows or shad. Brutally hot on the lake right now.

I've been picking up a few black early up in rock creek, but nothing to brag about, just been too darn hot. It this coming week end is a hot as it has been I'm going to stay around and do some work on the lake house and the deck.

well thank y'all for the advise. we ended up catching a few stripers and a few large mouth about 30minutes into fishing. went about an hour with nothing doc called it quits and went boarding. found lots of small bait but few fish mixed in.bait shad seemed pretty thick but small in size. all three stripers hovered around the 18 in. mark
