It was a beautiful morning, sun was shining , slight breeze, PERFECT for fishing. I loaded up with Cods, he pointed his rig East, we picked up John in Whitesboro then on to Texoma. Launched at Big Mineral and hit the first pile at 6:45AM but couldn't find the crappie. We did have a little excitement, I hooked what I thought was a bass or striper. It bent the pole nicely and the fight was on. We quickly found out it was a gar. This fish broke the water like a bass and Cods thought it was headed in the boat with us. Good thing it snapped my line and I gladly gave him my jig. Fished pile after pile and finally started catching a few around 8:45. Got off the water around 11:00 with 5 keepers. Picture below of the 2 best. I guess there is always a next time.

Good seeing y'all today. It was tough. We ended up keeping 5 nice fish. We must have followed y'all. Hagerman was dead. There is always next time.
