Hey forum, I have read of the limited bank access at Lake Fork and our men's ministry is having an outing of fishing and golf at the lake. We will be staying at Lake Fork Marina and Motel. My question is, are there any decent bank or pier locations at or near this facility for anyone not in a boat and if so what might they be able to target? By the way we will be there in the next couple of weeks. Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks

If you are staying at the marina, they should allow to fish the docks. I'd flip spoons, jigs, and spinners around and under the docks. Sunnies, crappie, and bass should all be there.

I actually caught a 27" 9lb 13oz bass from the bank at LFM in 2013. There were some whites schooling within casting range around sunset too. Had the best success on a chrome and blue red eye shad. Used to be a lot of fish in that pond by the big cabin, but not sure if there still are.
