Anyone have any suggestions for catching whites on canyon lake right now?
Couple of fish on top first thing, but just tiny groups of fish.
Tried dropping Slabs on what looks like white bass on the hummingbird by the dam and a couple of main lake points.
Trolling has only resulted in smallies and lmb on pet spoons. Trolled, points, river channel, creek channels...
It's not Somerville or Livingston and I'm lost. Lol

This past week, I've trolled minnows, large goldfish, and artificials around Cranes mill, Tom Creek, and Comal Park. Zero. I can't find them. I'm no help.

It's funny, the couple of small whites I've caught are so full of little minnows that they're about to pop and throw them up all over the boat. The smallies and lmb look like they haven't eaten all summer.
Slab on points can be fun for some smallies if anyone's trying for them! Lol
