OP SK1 Angler S Joined: May 2014 Posts: 352	I started out yesterday morning at sun up fishing lake holbrook, not much to report there. One 3 lb'er in five hrs of fishing. It was only my 2nd time on the lake. Buddy of mine says he's catching 25 or more a day out there. Anyways fished a half a day and went to Fork. Fished a few spots on the east side. I found a good school on a submerged bridge in 31ft of water. Top of the bridge is 16ft.I caught 6 bass in the first 1.5hrs and all were 4lbs or better. Biggest probably was close to 8lbs. And then like a light switch they turned off. Still marked them on the roadbed and bridge but no takers. That just baffled me, and of coarse you know I had already called a buddy nearby and bragged about how good the bite was. Par for the coarse picked him up at the minnow bucket ran back to the s bridge and the bite had died. They were still there just not chewing. We found another good school on a point in 17ft of water in the stumps and fished till about 10pm last night. We ended up with 8 more really good slot fish and 2 overs. My buddy had one that was close to 9lbs. Here's a pic of me with one of my better fish. The deepbite is definitely on right now, Fork is fishing great.
