Go to Home Depot and get an 8' pice of 6" PVC pipe glue a cap on one end and a screw on clean out cap for the other end. Now you have your rod holder. That's how I did it hope that helps.

Doubt u could fly with a section of 6". that's big pipe. Depending on how many rods you're bringing, 3 or 4 inch schedule 40 would be much easier to handle.

They sell um at academy. 30 bucks for big ones. They have smaller ones too.
